Service Description
Vinyasa is a yoga flow class. The teacher is slow and steady, offering a breakdown of fundamental poses. We will use props, so you come away feeling confident and comfortable on your mat. Each week we will explore different asanas (poses as we progress deeper into the yoga practice through breath and mindfulness. We end the class with Shavasana and meditation. If you are looking to start your home yoga practice, then this is for you. No yoga experience is required. Your home yoga practice Each class is 30 minutes long. These medium-length videos will give you a good idea of what a more extended yoga practice feels like physically and energetically. What is Vinyasa? Vinyasa or sometimes called, Yoga Flow emphasizes the sequential movement between asanas guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. As we connect with our breath in our Yoga practice, we learn mindfulness and being present. Each class moves from pose to pose, each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a fully balanced class of bends forward and back, twists, meditation with opportunity for inversions. All levels are welcome to join this dynamic practice in finding one's state of flow!
